Grammar tips
ARIMASU: a verb meaning possession
In Lesson 7, ARIMASU meant "something exists, or there is/there are." In Lesson 9, it meant "an event is held." Now, we are learning that ARIMASU means "having something" such as experiences.
e.g.) NIHON NO UTA O UTATTA KOTO GA ARIMASU KA.

I went to a Karaoke place with sing-along machines in Japan for the first time. I’m surprised! I just heard some people come all by themselves to practice singing.
