When gingko fruits start falling from the temple tree, our friends from Otowasan Kannonji Temple are there to pick them up. After removing the flesh and drying the nuts for three days, the nuns use them to prepare a delicious treat that goes perfectly with dried perilla leaves or herbal salt.
