何ですか [NAN DESU KA]

What is...?
NAN means "what". It forms a predicate with DESU. KA is a particle. Adding it to the end of a sentence, and saying the sentence with a rising intonation, allows you to ask a question.

Sakura ARIGATÔ GOZAIMASU.
