Kojima Mei is a correspondent based in Tokyo. She previously worked in Gunma and Akita prefectures, covering various topics including traditional culture and issues related to foreign residents and people with disabilities. Before joining NHK in 2014, she studied Arabic and spent a year in Egypt.
