- Ingredients (Serves 4)
- *1/2 cup / 100ml plain yoghurt
*1/4 cup / 50ml milk
*100g plain flour
*1 tsp baking powder
*butter, maple syrup, for toppings
1 Place a colander in a bowl and line them with a paper towel. Put the yoghurt in it and cover with plastic wrap. Let it stand for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator to drain the yoghurt.
2 Separate the egg in white and yolk.
3 Add one third of the sugar to the yolk and mix well. Add the drained yoghurt and milk, and mix them well.
4 Add the remaining sugar to the egg white and whisk until it makes stiff peaks.
5 Mix the flour and baking powder and sift it into the yolk mixture. Add the whisked egg white in several
times and mix gently.
6 Heat a small frying pan and add a little oil and grease it with a paper towel and pour the mixture in it. Turn the heat down to low and cook. When the edges are cooked, flip it over and cook through. (It takes about 1 and a half minutes on each side.)
7 Serve with butter and maple syrup, to your taste.
