Pork and Vegetable Rolls
- Ingredients (Serves 4)
- *200 - 250g pork belly (for shabushabu)
*1 tbsp sake
*1 tbsp mirin sweet cooking sake
*1 tbsp sugar
1 To make the miso sauce, combine the miso, sake, mirin, and sugar in a small pan, and mix well.
2 Cook over low heat while stirring for about 4 minutes.
3 Cut the celery into 4 rectangle pieces. Peel the carrot, and cut it in into 6 rectangle pieces.
Cut the zucchini into 6 rectangle pieces.
4 Roll each piece of vegetable in a slice of pork.
5 Heat some vegetable oil in a frying pan, put in the rolls and cooked them for 4 to 5 minutes.
6 When they turn brown, turn them over to cook the whole surface.
7 When they are cooked, cut them into bite-size pieces.
