Shimesaba in Sauce
- Ingredients (Serves 4)
- * 1 marinated mackerel fillet
* 2 Japanese leeks

* 1 1/2 cup/300ml dashi stock
* 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar
* 1 tsp light soy sauce
* 1 tsp sugar
* dried red chili( chopped)
1 Cut the marinated mackerel into 1-2cm wide slivers.
Cut the leek into 2 cm wide diagonal slices.
2 Combine the dashi stock, vinegar, light soy sauce and sugar to make the sauce.
3 Heat the frying pan and grill the mackerel and leek.
4 Put the sauce in a shallow dish or a tray and add the browned mackerel and leek.
Marinate it in a refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes.
