- Ingredients (Serves 4)
- *2 cakes cotton tofu (firm tofu)
*1 + 1/2 cup meat sauce (store-bought)
*1/4 cup (50ml) fresh cream
*200g / 7 oz pizza cheese
*Salt to taste
*Pepper to taste
*2 tbsp olive oil
Preparing the tofu
1 Drain the tofu, wrap them in paper towel. Wrap them again for about 15 minutes.
2 Cut the tofu into five slices.
3 Add the olive oil to the frying pan and turn the heat on medium.
4 Place the tofu in the frying pan and season with salt and pepper.
5 Brown the tofu slowly for about 2 to 3 minutes and turn over.
6 Pour a little olive oil over the tofu and season them. Brown this side for 2 to 3 minutes.
7 Turn off the heat and let them stand.
Preparing the lasagna
1 Preheat the oven to 250 degrees Celsius.
2 Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
3 Place the tofu on top of the meat sauce.
4 Pour the cream and sprinkle cheese.
5 Spread another layer of meat sauce.
6 Add the tofu and cream.
7 Add the remaining meat sauce and cheese.
8 Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
