Stir-Fried String Beans and Minced Pork
- Ingredients (Serves 4)
- *300g/ 11oz string beans
*150g/ 5oz minced pork
*1/3 Japanese leek
*1 knob ginger
*1 clove garlic
*2-3 tbsp soy sauce
*Dried red chili peppers
1 Remove the strings of the beans and boil. Rinse under running cold water or immerse in a bowl with water and ice cubes.
2 Pat-dry and cut the beans diagonally into bite-size pieces.
3 Mince the leek, ginger and garlic.
4 Turn the heat on high and add oil to the frying pan. Add the leek, ginger and garlic, and cook to allow the flavorings to infuse the oil. Add the minced pork and stir-fry.
5 Further add the string beans and season with soy sauce. Add sliced red peppers.
*Chopped garlic, ginger, leek, and soy sauce give this dish a rich aroma. Stir-frying any meat or vegetable with these ingredients will produce tasty results.
