Lacquerware artisan Hisayoshi Muto's uniquely shaped cups are made using a patent-pending process that's a world-first. The cups are actually all lacquer, there's no wood or other material underneath, which gives the cups some springiness to the touch. Taking about 20 days to complete a single cup, this is the true spirit of great gear.
