Taking Classical Music on the Road: Guilhem Fabre / Pianist
Over 3 years, a French Pianist Guilhem Fabre has run "uNopia," his own project in the aim of making classical music known and loved by audiences who don't normally have access to it.
In his project "uNopia," Guilhem Fabre drives van loading a piano which transforms into a stage. Thus he delivers an open-air classical music concert anywhere within driving distance. Originally designed to make classical music known and loved by audiences who don't normally have access to it, "uNopia" has been in high demand from many communities seeking a cultural program under the restriction during the Corona pandemic.
For Fabre, "uNopia" is also a laboratory to develop new forms, which can make classical music more heard and loved, by blending different artistic disciplines, from theater with actors, singers and dancers, to video artists.
