A Branch of a Pine Is Tied Up

A work based on the Great East Japan Earthquake. The story follows twin sisters affected by the tsunami, one who survives and who loses her life. The ghost of the deceased twin wanders around different locations, searching for memories of her sister. This work is Murata's third entry into his earthquake themed pieces, following "Forest This Flower Blooms" and "AMETSUCHI."
