Music Over Generations

The 24th Miyazaki International Music Festival

Held in Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, the Miyazaki International Music Festival is today one of the world's finest classical music festivals, bringing together top-flight musicians such as Pinchas Zukerman, one of the world's leading violinists, and Rainer Kuchl, a former concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The spotlight performance this year, the 24th time the festival is being held, will be a duet by violinist Fumiaki Miura (26) and pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii (30). The 2 young artists are also close friends. We will follow the music-making of these leaders of the next generation.
