Lesson 46: It’s small but beautiful.
Almost a year has passed since Tam arrived in Japan from Vietnam. All of the residents of "Haru-san House" have gone on a trip to Kyoto. They’re about to check in to an inn that uses a "machiya." Machiya are old wooden townhouses that line narrow streets. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to express multiple impressions following lesson 26. Later in the program, we’ll talk about the appeal of Kyoto.
