THAILAND FACES POLITICAL TURMOIL

Thailand’s largest opposition party, the Move Forward Party, could be dissolved. The country’s Election Commission last month asked the Constitutional Court to disband Move Forward. The party is especially popular among young voters, and won the most seats in last year’s election. We spoke with Punchada Sirivunnabood. She is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at Mahidol University in Bangkok.
