Cambodia's economy has been growing rapidly, but the effects are not being felt in some regions, and a wealth gap is widening. In farm villages, many children are losing their motivation to study as their parents cannot afford to buy textbooks or stationery for them. In an effort to change this, Shuji Matsuoka has been developing educational materials that help children to learn through play and delivering them to elementary schools free of charge with the help of local people. The program features the endeavors of the Japanese 39 year old to help children discover the pleasures of learning. (This program was broadcast on January 15, 2020.)
