Rate Hike Despite Banking System Turmoil

US Federal Reserve policymakers have pushed aside fears that a further interest rate hike could hurt a financial system that's already in turmoil. They have managed to slow inflation through a series of increases. And the latest one is a quarter of a percentage point, bringing the target range to 4.75 to 5 percent. Matsumoto Ken, Senior Economist at Okasan Securities, spoke about how he views the decision.
