Keeping Alive the Legacy of `Barefoot Gen'

`Barefoot Gen' is one of Japan's best-known manga. It has been translated into 24 languages and read around the world. Its creator, Nakazawa Keiji, depicts the 1945 Hiroshima atomic bomb attack, which he lived through as a child. To mark the 10th anniversary of Nakazawa's death, we meet a peace activist in the city to hear what she herself learned from the legendary manga artist.
