Crude Oil Prices Surge to Highest Since 2018

Crude oil prices rose to the highest since 2018 as major producers failed to agree on output cuts. A market expert tells NHK World's Yuko Fukushima that a resolution depends on OPEC members Saudi Arabia and the UAE reaching a compromise. Niimura Naohiro of Market Risk Advisory added that WTI crude oil futures could rise to 80 dollars a barrel in the near term if the dispute continues.
