Saga's wind bells enchant vistors

The Okawachiyama Wind Chime Festival in the southern Imari City in Saga Prefecture is underway. About 1,000 wind bells hang from the edges of the eaves of residents' houses, shops, and other buildings along the streets. The center of Imari ware production has 30 potteries and is a cultural hub for ceramics, especially porcelain, crafted with precision and passion. The annual event allows visitors to enjoy the remarkable clarity of the ringing chimes.
