Hiroshima water lilies in full bloom

The water lily flowers are in full bloom in the pond of Mt. Gokurakuji in Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The Janoike pond near the summit is filled with the pink and white blossoms, which appear to float on the water's surface. Early summer is the peak season, and flowers will last until the end of August.
