Daffodils blanket Hokkaido mountainside

Every spring, a 5,000-square-meter field of blooming daffodils blankets a mountainside of Toyako in Hokkaido in yellow and white. Farmers started planting bulbs at the site 18 years ago in the hope of drawing visitors to the area, and today it boasts 200,000 daffodils of 35 varieties.
