Mt. Fuji and fields of pink moss

A vibrant carpet of Shibazakura, or pink moss, against the backdrop of the snow-capped Mt. Fuji awaits visitors to Fujikawaguchiko Town in Japan's Yamanashi Prefecture. About 500,000 of the flowering plants in shades of pink, purple, and white have been meticulously planted across 1.5 hectares adjacent to the Fuji Motosuko Resort.
