Reeling in good health for kids
In a tradition dating back more than 40 years, locals in the town of Sakurae, Gotsu City, string up carp streamers across the Gono River to mark Children's Day. The custom is held to ensure children grow up cheerful and healthy. This year, 120 koi streamers fluttered in the spring breeze, some towering up to 6 meters.
