Illumination event lights up Himeji Castle

A light-up event commemorated the 30th anniversary of the registration of Himeji Castle, a National Treasure of Japan, as a World Cultural Heritage Site. On the 800-meter road connecting the castle with JR Himeji Station, 220,000 LED bulbs adorned 130 trees. They changed from white to blue and red, and enhanced the white image of Himeji Castle floating in the night sky.
