Castle in the sky

NHK captured Echizen-Ono Castle floating above a sea of clouds on November 21. The low temperature for Ono City that day was minus 0.7 degrees Celsius, the coldest of the season. According to the city, the "Castle in the Sky" phenomenon can be seen about 10 times a year. It appears most often on November mornings due to large diurnal temperature variations.
