Ancient ginkgo tree alight in fall colors

A ginkgo tree at Kingenji Temple in Shimane Prefecture's Okuizumo Town is 33 meters tall, has a circumference of more than 6 meters and is said to be over 700 years old. In addition to viewing the glowing ginkgo, visitors can also enjoy walking along the yellow carpet created by its fallen leaves.
