A carpet of colors on Mount Ishizuchi, Ehime

Fall foliage is lighting up Mount Ishizuchi — western Japan's highest peak — about a week later than usual. The leaves are now at their brightest between the altitudes of 1,600 to 1,982 meters. Mount Ishizuchi's autumn colors can be enjoyed through early November at increasingly lower altitudes.
