Floral wonderland on cedar mountain

In Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, lies a 15-hectare cedar mountain on which you will find the Michinoku Hydrangea Garden. Around 40,000 hydrangeas of 400 varieties decorate the garden, with 5,000 of them floating serenely in a pond. The groundskeepers replenish and reposition the flowers, ensuring the most photogenic view for visitors, until July 24.
