Hydrangeas in full glory

About 2,000 hydrangea plants from about 30 varieties are in full bloom at Nomiyama-Kannonji Temple in Sasaguri town, Fukuoka Prefecture. Due to the high altitude and low temperature, they are at their best one or two weeks later than those in the flatlands. They bring color and beauty for the enjoyment of worshippers.
