Hokkaido's shibazakura in full bloom

Shibazakura flowers are in full bloom at the Higashimokoto Shibazakura Park in Ozora-cho, Hokkaido. Visitors come to the park every spring to admire the contrast between the lush pink carpet of flowers and the deep blue sky overhead. A festival at the site will run until May 31.
