Seaside flower garden in full bloom

At Flower Park Urashima in Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture, 10,000 marguerite flowers are in full bloom. Local volunteers grow the flowers to liven up the area.
Mitoyo City is Japan's top Marguerite-growing area, shipping about 1 million a year mainly to the Tokyo metropolitan area. The dainty flowers against the backdrop of the blue Seto Inland Sea and the greenery of the nearby islands have become a popular scene with photographers.
