Fukushima blossom back in full view

Rows of cherry blossom trees are lit up each evening in the Yonomori district of Tomioka Town in Fukushima Prefecture. After the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, more than 10 percent of Tomioka was designated as a difficult-to-return zone. More than half of the cherry blossom trees, stretching for about 1.4 kilometers, were in that area. But the government has now lifted the evacuation order and people are enjoying the spring highlight once again.
