Cherry blossom in Kanazawa Castle Park

Spring has arrived in earnest in Kanazawa, with the 400 cherry blossom trees of Kanazawa
Castle Park in full bloom. The area surrounding a bridge that links the park to Kenroku-en
Garden is currently a paradise of pink.

The management of the castle and park had asked visitors to refrain from drinking alcohol
on the premises and gathering in large groups as part of COVID-19 safety measures. But
this year the restrictions have been eased.
