Enjoying blossoms at Inokashira Park

At Inokashira Park in a western suburb of Tokyo, about 200 cherry trees of different varieties around the pond are in full bloom. The park is famous for not only its walking trails but also blossom viewing from boats.

Many people came to the park to admire the blossoms on this day when the maximum temperature in central Tokyo was 25 degrees Celsius -- as warm as May.
