Spring arrives in snowy Hokuriku

Visitors are now welcome for a short time only to view 35 early-blooming Kawazu cherry-blossom trees on the premises of Mitsubishi Chemical, a major chemicals manufacturer in Toyama City. The trees are in full bloom and available for viewing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the cherry-blossom season. Due to the mild winter this year, the blossoms have made their appearance about a week earlier than usual.
