Kawazu Town gets early sakura show

The early-blooming Kawazu cherry blossoms are in full color, with 850 trees forming a stunning 4-kilometer tunnel along the river in Shizuoka Prefecture. The trees are expected to be at the peak of their beauty until early March, and a cherry-blossom festival runs until March 5.
