Nara's famous deer park in winter

Nara City features an expansive park near the city center, replete with herds of deer that wander about freely. When temperatures fall in winter, the deer can be seen foraging for food while emitting puffs of breath. The animals, which have no fear of humans, are encouraged to live here as they are considered sacred animals.
