Sendai sparkles with winter illuminations

The Sendai Pageant of Starlight makes the Miyagi Prefecture city sparkle with illuminations. This is the 37th edition of the spectacle and it features almost half a million LED bulbs. More than 100 Japanese zelkova trees on Jozenji-dori Boulevard in central Sendai are festooned with lights.
