Monkeys in a hot spring

Japanese monkeys get their own natural hot spring at the botanical garden in Hakodate City, Hokkaido, each winter. The sight of them soaking in hot water while it snows delights visitors. There are no wild Japanese macaques in Hokkaido, so the hot bath helps the ones at the botanical gardens survive the harsh northern cold.
