The red azaleas of Fukuoka

The Nomiyama Kannonji temple in Sasaguri, Fukuoka Prefecture offers a stunning display of vibrant red azalea leaves and crimson trees that appear to be on fire. The temple grounds feature 1,000 azaleas that, when viewed from inside the hall of 100 Buddha statues, resemble a beautiful painting.
