Sun rises over "Sea of Fog"

Miyoshi City in Hiroshima Prefecture is situated in a mountain basin at the confluence of three rivers. In the fall, the lower temperatures cool the river water, generating mist that covers the entire area. People from around the country visit to witness the "Sea of Fog" as it blankets the city, with only mountaintops visible in the distance.
