Yellow cosmos signal end of summer

"Okayama Forest Park Doitsu-no-Mori" is a site in Akaiwa City in western Japan's Okayama Prefecture designed to recreate the aesthetic of German farm life. Planted on the grounds are roughly 600,000 cosmos plants. Their flowers start to wither in early September, heralding the end of summer.
