Kanto Festival back after 3-year break

Performers at the Kanto Festival in northern Japan's Akita Prefecture skillfully balance bamboo poles holding dozens of lanterns arrayed to resemble giant ears of rice, some as tall as 12 meters and weighing 50 kg.
