Cherry blossoms with a mountain view in Nagano

At the foot of the Northern Alps in Nagano Prefecture, Omachi City offers a unique view of both snow-capped mountains and cherry blossom at the same time. Visitors can head to a park where 30 cherry trees bloom about a month later than the trees in Tokyo and Osaka, due to the altitude -- about 700 meters above sea level.
