A sea of pink in Kofu City

Nestled in the heart of Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, besides the ruins of the once-majestic Kofu Castle, lies the picturesque Maizuru Castle Park. It is an oasis greenery, with a castle tower that offers a breathing view of the city, the picturesque Kofu basin, and one a sunny day, Mount Fuji. And when spring comes around, the park transforms into a sea of pink and white as 166 cherry trees bloom.
