What should I do if I’m sharing a house with someone infected?
Infectious disease expert Sakamoto Fumie of St. Lukes International Hospital in Japan says the important thing is to disinfect places that people touch frequently, such as faucets or light switches. She recommends using diluted detergent, or alcohol-based disinfectant if available.
Is it safe to go to golf courses?
Sakamoto says golfing might seem like a low-risk activity because it takes place outdoors. But, if there are a large number of people in the party, it can pose a significant risk. Locker rooms and restaurants at the golf course also increase the risk.
