Yamaguchi Hiroaki's broadcasting career included stints at NHK's Nagasaki, Shimane, and Ehime bureaus before he joined NHK WORLD-Japan. His coverage has included stories on A-bomb survivors as well as the aftermath of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster. He is now an anchor on NHK NEWSLINE and appears on "Learn Japanese from the News." He also presents news in Japanese on NHK's domestic service.
