Iwasaki Atsushi has covered disasters and accidents in Japan and abroad. He also specializes in underwater video, reporting on shore denudation and coral abnormalities. He’s dived in the seas off Hokkaido's Shiretoko Peninsula and Okinawa, as well as in the Philippines and Thailand. Based now in NHK Kochi, he enjoys viewing the abundance of sea life there.
