Kiyota Yuma joined NHK in 2013 and has worked in the central Japan cities of Nagoya and Tsu, and the southern island prefecture of Okinawa. While specializing in dive videography, he has covered sporting events including the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He has been based in Tokyo since 2023.
